      1. Manly

What to do in Sydney

Starting with a ferry ride across Sydney Harbour, Manly has to be the top day out! There are plenty of things to do in Manly once you get there. From a day on the beach surfing, or snorkelling in the more secluded Shelly Beach. Other activities available include kayaking, cycling and exploring the local area. You can visit Manly Sealife Sanctuary or visit Q Station and go on a ghost tour!

Along The Corsco there are plenty of great choices for refreshments to suit any budget.

The best way to find your way around Manly is a Trail Quest. You’ll find plenty of hidden gems, and it will be a great start to your day out.


      2. Ultimo  & Chippendale 

What to do in Sydney

If the weather is a bit cooler why not visit Ultimo and Chippendale. These two suburbs are next door to each other, and there is plenty to see and do here. Starting indoors with the Powerhouse Museum or a swim at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre.  There is plenty of modern architecture that will amaze the kids, from Dr Chau Chak Wing Building to the One Building in Chippendale.

     3.  Royal Botanical Gardens

What to do in Sydney

There is plenty on in the Botanical Gardens for kids during the holidays. From bush food hunts, garden discos and hunts to find weird and exotic plants. With views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour, it is a great place to spend a day exploring.

     4.  Closer to home
