On each Quest, you will come across renown landmarks, as well as some hidden gems.


Crows Nest was part of a land grant made to Edward Wollstonecraft in 1821. Edward built a cottage and called it Crows Nest due to its elevated position. Edward’s business partner was Alexander Berry. Edward met Alexander in 1812 whilst travelling through Europe. Alexander went on to marry Edward’s sister Elizabeth. The family is far reaching with many connections.


Complete this Trail Quest to discover a book and a key date linked to this family. Clues are scattered around the area. Solve this puzzle by following the directions and discovering the clues.


The Trail Quest is an easy to follow route with clues to DISCOVER along the way.  You will EXPLORE parts of Crows Nest you have not visited before, having fun and ENJOYING a great day out with family and friends.
