This Trail Quest explores the suburb of Crows Nest and the surrounding areas, including St Thomas Rest Park.  Each Trail Quest map consists of detailed directions, a puzzle to solve and clues to help you along the way. On each Quest, you will come across renown landmarks, as well as some hidden gems.

 

Crows Nest was part of a land grant made to Edward Wollstonecraft in 1821. Edward built a cottage and called it Crows Nest due to its elevated position. Edward’s business partner was Alexander Berry. Edward met Alexander in 1812 whilst travelling through Europe. Alexander went on to marry Edward’s sister Elizabeth. The family is far reaching with many connections.

 

Complete this Trail Quest to discover a book and a key date linked to this family. Clues are scattered around the area. Solve this puzzle by following the directions and discovering the clues.
